What is the timeline for a custom dress?

The custom dress process takes 6-10 months. If we have more time, its never too early to get started! All of your fittings are scheduled based on your wedding date.

How do I get started?

Schedule a phone consultation here! We go over design, process, and timeline. It’s always helpful to send over any inspo you have prior to the call so we can get a visual of what you want to create.

What is your pricing for custom dresses?

Prices range per dress depending on the complexity of design & the fabrics you choose.

COLLECTION: We create a small customizable collection each year. These are core styles that start at $3,000. You are able to customize the fabrics, and details from each dress. Customizations will be reflected in the final price.

FULL CUSTOM: Fully custom dresses start at $5,000 and increase depending on the complexity of design, and the fabrics that you choose. All fittings are included in the price, and made custom to your measurements.

MINI DRESSES & JUMPSUITS: These typically start at $1,200, and range depending on complexity and fabrics. All fittings are included in the price, and made custom to your measurements.

How many fittings should I expect?

It typically takes about 4 fittings from start to finish with an additional in person appointment for the “design review”- this is when we will take measurements, lock in design details, and review fabrics.

Do I need to book an appointment?

Yes! Please select your appointment type and schedule here.

When do you take appointments?

We run appointments on Wednesdays, Fridays & Saturdays.

Can I bring guests?

Of course! 4 guests is the usual limit, but if you have a special occasion of more guests please shoot us an email.

Is there parking?

Yes! There is free 90 min parking in Sowa Boston’s parking lot located here.
